Townsville Enterprise (TEL) has submitted formal feedback to Parliament on actions to improve energy, food and water security within Townsville North Queensland and, by extension, across Northwestern Queensland.
Projects highlighted by Townsville Enterprise to improve energy, food and water security within Townsville North Queensland and, by extension, across Northwestern Queensland include:
- Funding for Stage 2 of the Port of Townsville, Port Expansion Project – Outer Harbour Development.
- The Eastern Access Rail Corridor (TEARC)
- Queensland’s Transmission Network
- Green Energy and Fuel Incentives
- Flinders Highway Upgrade
- RegenAqua Hinchinbrook
- Big Rocks Weir
- Enhancing the Burdekin River System
Our submission advocates for the interests of our members and the broader North Queensland community by addressing key points essential for the growth and security of the community and businesses that live, work, and invest in Northern Australia, TEL said.
