Congratulations to Darrin ‘Skinny’ Thomas who won the right by luck of the draw to lead Northern Stevedoring Services (NSS) in a high profile charity event tomorrow, (Sunday 25May25).
NSS will have three trucks in The Convoy for the Cure, where more than 200 trucks and motorbikes are expected participate.
Convoy follows a track through the city from Webb Drive to Ross Dam Park.
Convoy has raised more than $700,000 over the past ten years in support of the Cure Starts Now which supports research into childhood brain cancer.
The team which raises the most funds gets to lead Convoy. NSS has registered three trucks to participate.
