Stevedoring and transport are well represented in the latest employee of the month recognition.
The November winner is Andrew Mackee.
His nomination says, ‘Andrew has been a stevedore with NSS for over 20 years and during this time he has shown consistently outstanding performance as a team leader and has an exemplary work ethic.
‘He approaches tasks with reliability and dependability which makes him a key contributor to our teams’ success.
‘His working performance sets the benchmark for others to follow and reflects the standards we strive for across our operations.’
Tim Struthers stood high in October with a nomination saying, ‘he has worked efficiently and effectively in both the transport and molasses sectors since joining NSS last year.’
‘Throughout this year’s molasses season Tim has gone above and beyond to assist in covering shifts and doing extra days wherever required without hesitation and has received positive feedback from the mills.
‘Tim has also consistently been able to get three trips per shift from Macknade Mill which no other driver has accomplished. Tim is a valued member of the NSS transport team and gets along well with all his peers.’
