Convoy makes Darrin’s day

Driver Darren ‘Skinny’ Thomas proudly held the Northern Stevedoring Services banner high as he led a large contingent making up the Convoy for The Cure 2025 fund raising event through Townsville Streets yesterday, (Sunday 25May25).

Convoy for The Cure is marked as a ‘must do’ event in many Townsville family calendars.

NSS gained the right to lead Convoy by raising the largest donation package which, along with the naming rights sponsorship, came to more than $41,000.

Convoy delighted hundreds of locals and visitors who lined the route waving in support and later enjoyed a family day at Ross Dam Park.
